This story follows Dani, an aloof 15-year-old still stuck in her "not-like-other-girls" phase. She drags her impressionable little sister, Bella, along with her as she hangs out with her less-than-stellar guy friends, Adrian and Booker. The facade Dani puts up in front of the boys is slowly overtaking her true self. Bella's relationship with her sister is disintegrating. A mentor figure, Mikayla, tries to lend a hand. Unfortunately, the sisters come to learn the hard way that innocence is irreplaceable.
